Welcome to the Career Astronaut Spaceflight Training Overview
As you may have read in the news or watched on television, the commercial space industry is rapidly growing. Private companies like SpaceX, Virgin Galactic, and Blue Origin open the opportunity and need for a greater human presence in space. You may have also noticed that there are more space startup companies either sending more satellites into orbit or developing more advanced drones and habitats to increase space mining and exploration opportunities. Most of this activity will require astronauts. NASA, ESA and other Space Agencies can’t do it alone and they need collaborative support.
Career Astronauts are trained to be spaceflight certified and ready to take on space missions and rapid deployment, but we don’t just train individual astronauts, we train astronaut teams. Career Astronauts are specialized teams designed to be the best at what they do, to get the most out of each moment they spend in microgravity, on the moon, Mars and beyond. We apply peer reviewed research, patented technology and decades of experience to prepare you and your team. If you’re looking to make a difference, contribute to the greater good by inspiring and motivating others in 123 countries around the world then we invite you to become a Career Astronaut.
